These terms cover the Weavify app — in a browser at app.weavify.in, and the versions you install on a phone or a computer. Using Weavify means you accept them. They are short on purpose; there is no account to agree on your behalf and nothing here is written to be discovered later.
What leaves your device is a separate question and has its own page: see Privacy. These terms do not restate it.
What Weavify is
The sentence the app shows you on first run
Weavify is a diary that listens and notices how you're feeling — not therapy, not a doctor, and nothing it says is medical advice; if something feels urgent, please talk to someone you trust or call a helpline.
That sentence is the whole claim, and it is the same one the app itself shows before you write anything. Weavify notices patterns in what you wrote and reflects them back. It is not a professional of any kind, it is not a substitute for one, and it cannot tell whether you are safe. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline — not this app.
Your entries are yours
You own everything you write. We claim no licence over it, we do not train anything on it, and we do not publish it. Your entries live on your device (see Privacy for the one case where text leaves it), which also means you are the only one who can back them up. Use Settings ▸ Export before you change phones, reinstall, or clear your browser data — we have no copy to restore from.
What you can buy
Weavify can be used free. Three things are for sale — one paid for once, and two monthly subscriptions. Prices are shown in your own currency on the screen where you buy, and the store charges exactly that.
Pro charged once
A one-time purchase. Nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel, and it does not expire — stop using Weavify for a year and it is still unlocked when you come back. It unlocks the on-device model (the whole diary runs on your device, with nothing you write leaving it), all papers and typography, and Markdown and Word export.
Basic and Advanced monthly subscriptions
Basic gives you more writing each day through our relay than the free tier allows. Advanced gives you everything Basic has, with more room each day. Each is an auto-renewing subscription with a term of one month.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each month, at the price shown when you bought it, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current month. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the month ends.
- You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the month you have already paid for runs to its end.
- If the price ever changes, Apple tells you first and asks for your consent where the law requires it.
Per platform not transferable
A purchase is made through the store the app came from, and it unlocks the app on that platform only. Buying on the App Store does not unlock the Android, Windows or browser version, and the reverse is equally true. Each store bills separately, and we cannot see or move a purchase between them. This is a real limitation, not fine print: if you use Weavify on two platforms, they are two purchases.
Per Apple Account on iPhone, iPad and Mac
On Apple platforms the purchase belongs to the Apple Account that made it, and is restored by signing in with that account and using Restore Purchases — not by us, and not by anything stored on the device. Apple handles the payment, the receipt and any refund under Apple's terms; we never see your payment details and cannot issue a refund ourselves. If a purchase does not restore, ask Apple Support first — they are the only ones holding the record.
On Apple platforms these terms are our end-user licence agreement. Where they are silent, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
The free tier is a courtesy
Where a free tier exists, it is one we fund out of pocket so you can try Weavify without a key of your own. It has a shared daily allowance, per-copy limits, and a switch that turns it off entirely. It can be reduced, rate-limited or withdrawn at any time, without notice, and running out is a normal outcome rather than a fault. The two tiers with no allowance at all — your own API key, and a model running on your own device — are always there, and every refusal the app shows you points at them.
Using it fairly
- Do not use our relay as a general-purpose API, resell access to it, or drive it from a script instead of from the app.
- Do not try to get around the free tier's limits by minting copies of the app, cycling addresses, or forging the counter it uses.
- Do not use Weavify to produce or store anything illegal where you are.
- Do not upload someone else's writing and represent it as material you have the right to process here.
If the relay is being abused we may block or rate-limit the traffic doing it. That never touches what is on your device, and it never deletes anything of yours — we cannot; we do not have it.
No warranty
Weavify is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be available, uninterrupted, accurate, or free of defects, and language models get things wrong in ways that look confident. Do not rely on anything it says for a decision that matters.
To the fullest extent the law where you live allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data or lost entries. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the app — which, for most people, is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not permit us to limit, and if you bought through a store, that store's own consumer-protection terms apply on top of these and are not displaced by them.
Changes
These terms can change as the app does. The date at the top is the only version marker; there is no account to notify, so material changes will be visible here and, where they affect something you have paid for, in the app itself. Continuing to use Weavify after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Nothing in this section takes away a consumer-protection right that the law where you live gives you and does not allow a contract to remove.
